hippy sewing machine – machine embroidery

This enchanting sewing machine was created based on a watercolor painting by dear Sabine Weuthen from Smart-Thread.de. With the kind permission of Sabine, I may process her watercolors into embroidery motifs and offer them here.

Very special about this motif is the fine outline drawn in one go. Of course, I have made every effort to implement this feature also true to the original.

Due to the wonderfully placed color gradients, this motif is perfectly suited to find its place on light fabrics. Please pay attention to the choice of your fabric color. On fabrics that are chosen too dark, the chilly machine doesn’t come across as effectively. It will be difficult to embroider especially the eye area.

The embroidery design is placed on edge in the hoop. Please keep this in mind when placing it on your sewing project.
