Free standing lace by machine embroidery, great stuff

Free-Standing-Lace (FSL) refers to machine embroidery designs that are not embroidered on fabrics, but on washable embroidery stabilizers. These stabilizers are washed out after embroidery. The finished embroidery designs then look like lace and only hold because of the embroidery with the threads, hence the term “free-standing” as in “free-standing”, i.e. without fabric as an embroidery base. That’s great stuff.
